DREAMING ALICE: LOOKING GLASS

I was commissioned by Radio 4 to give a contemporary twist to Alice in Wonderland. Initially, I wanted to write about loneliness and find a way to link two strangers together. What transpired was a story about losing loved ones and the hole we fall down if we choose to face our grief.

Alice has no time for breakfast, no time to grieve for her mother, no time for anything; until an escaped rabbit propels her into someone else's life.
